I hate having to explain to a new player why the vast majority of the people they are interacting with are not people they can join a guild with, or aren’t even on their server. Let these tiny realms wither and die and start sending the new players to the big servers. Nothing ... There’s an entire phase of catch up raid coming in a few months. If you start now, you can get to max level and make some gold of do some P1 and P2 content until P4 hits. Then you can get geared for Sunwell by the time it releases. It’s a great time to start. All but one of the realms is completely P2W, and the PvP is cross-realm so you'll be at a huge disadvantage anyways. Area-52 is the biggest Horde server. It’s fine. Def a lot of people around. It’s more of a self-contained place as opposed to other servers that have a ton of connected realms and CRZ in open world. Alliance has more RP and activity overall, but the server has a LOT of toxic people in it now, and a lot of people who mock and insult RPers. That makes no sense. It is an RP server. WrA is great for both factions. Wyrmrest Accord has a good Horde population, Alliance is so so.Bloodsail Buccaneers (RP), the unofficial Hardcore server on Classic Era, is the most active Classic Era server by far. It has hundreds of people playing Hardcore every day, which is a playstyle that is addon-supported but not officially supported by Blizzard. Walk up RP is present but it is 50/50 in whether it'll be good or bad (Same on MG Alliance.) I took a long break from WoW from the end of Wrath until the last patch of BFA. You can get a full tier 3 set for less than a million if you’re lucky, or a little over. On other realms you cant. You probably can, if buying transmog is your thing, and if you can get a million on a low-pop realm.Tons of guilds and players migrated off realm after those changes, many went to WrA for RP. There's usually guilds and communities dedicated to it, and people use addons such as TRP to write profiles and so on to supplement the experience. On EU the only "real" RP server left is Argent Dawn, the rest are either dead or are RP realms only in name. It's majority Alliance but plenty of Horde stuff too.That doesn't mean you won't have fun. When you are farming Korthia, around world bosses (the world quests ones giving 500 anima) or the assaults, try to group. In custom groups you will probably find something “25 kills Korthia WM on” or “Korthi rare farming WM on”. It is the best private server I've ever played. Dalaran-Wow has been my default server for the past 6-7 years, and it is great too, just low pop now. The main reason I have enjoyed both is both are well-scripted servers, and have healthy economies. The first thing I do to "test" a private server is scan the AH.. They had a list on thier website as well but they included that it might not be up to date. Not a New York data center. Server time and data center location dont correlate..
